This year due to the Pandemic, we had students taking classes online as well as few of the teachers who preferred to teach online. In order to accommodate online classes, we loaned out laptops and other technology products such as webcams and microphones to teachers and students whose families were unable to purchase these devices. In most cases, more than one laptop per family was borrowed to accommodate multiple children enrolled in our school.
For next year, about 15 old and broken laptops and other such technology will need to be upgraded to provide students with devices that meet performance requirements. The students at ISOM conduct I-Ready and Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) testing online for which we need to have laptops in place. For this reason, we are seeking donations to upgrade and purchase new equipment. Below you will find some of the projects we have accomplished and some projects we wish to tackle.
